The doctor put stingy drops in her eyes. They felt all clowdy. Then she looked through the click-clack machine and could see real clear. The doctor wrote down numbers and wiggly things then he lifted her down to the floor.

The doctor took Jennys hand and they walked back to the big room.

Jenny was lifted onto a ‘swirly’ stool and tried on all kinds of frames. Some she liked. Some were colors and others she hated.

Jenny started to cry. She would be made fun of like Eugene and nobody will be her friend. Maybe even Ella! Mr. Navy told Jenny, “that’s not true. If you wear glasses you would make them popular. Didn’t movie and Rock Stars wear glasses,” said Mr. Navy from inside her bag.
